ESM Cooperative Society

A cooperative is a jointly owned and democratically controlled enterprise that is created to meet the economic, social, and cultural needs of its members.  Cooperatives are based on values and principles of fairness and equality. Cooperatives are managed by producers, users, or workers, and are run according to the “one member, one vote” rule.   An ESM Cooperative Society is proposed to be formed with an office in each ECHS Polyclinic to provide a spectrum of services to ESM.   Veterans are invited to join the ESM Cooperative as members and

Services Planned

  1.   Collection of Continue (CT) Medication for Chronic ailments for home delivery, which may include assisting connectivity for Tele-medicine using eSehat / eSanjeevani, collection of prescribed medicines and arrange delivery.
  2.   24/7 Helpdesk for assistance in AOR.
  3.  Provide Instant Pharmacy for NA Medicines, prepare documents & submissions of Claims.
  4.   Assistance in empaneled hospitals to incl documentation, provision of LOs, patients’ attendance duties and related services.
  5.   Assist Outstation Patients for transport, accommodations, and related services.
  6.   24/7 Digital Outpatient Clinic, Lab tests with instant results, prescription, medicine collection and delivery.
  7.  Reach out for Home Medical Services to include tele consultation, instant lab reports, physiotherapy, nursing services, provision and delivery of prescribed medicines.
  8.   Assistance on death of ECHS / CGHS beneficiaries, cremation assistance including religious facilitation and last rites and subsequent event management.
  9.   Setting up of Jan Aushadi pharmacy if required / establishment of independent pharmacies.
  10.   Secretarial Services, management of financial and asset portfolio of ESM,
  11.   Extension of ESM services such as placement cell, CSD, travel bookings, etc
  12.   Explore additional avenues to comply with enhance the economic benefits to members of the cooperative.

About the ESM Cooperative
1.   Where. Initially, 38 ECHS Clinics will be activated in this pilot project. Since Cooperative Acts are issued by State Governments, each State will form one cooperative society.
2.   Who can Join. Any ESM. Last date for founding members is 26 Jan 25.
3.   How Many can one ESM Join: Since the cooperative would will aim to provide economic benefits, any ESM can join any number Cooperatives across India.
4. Membership Fees. This will be determined during the General Body Meeting of the founding members on 30 Jan 25.
5. Management. The cooperative will be managed by professionals to be employed as per best industry practice to ensure dedicated executives are engaged. Any ESM can apply for the posts offered.
6. Financials. This is a cooperative society and not a charitable trust and therefore all services will be chargeable.
